On Thursday, 19 March, 2020, a workshop on using conflict resolution and peacebuilding for teachers in Taiz Governorate for (20) educational decision makers in the education sector in Taiz Governorate concluded.It has lasted for two days, with Saferworld Organization supporting in the framework of the project (Development of Peace-building Tools and Social Cohesion).
The project manager, Basheer Al-Tobai, has confirmed that the guide for conflict resolution and peacebuilding for teachers is the first of its kind in the Arab world. Youth Organization for Development and Democracy was the first to produce a comprehensive and unified qualitative guide in the conflict resolution and peacebuilding for the teachers category.
This guide is based on Scientific foundations which will help teachers in schools design educational outreach programs and various activities related to peacebuilding and social coexistence. So that, all peacebuilding and coexistence activities that implemented by teachers are purposeful and standard in curricular and reference.
