In the presence of the Deputy Director General of the Office of Social Affairs and Labor, Director of the Department of Associations and Organizations in Taiz governorate, Mr. Fouad Abdullah Ahmed, and Deputy Director General of the Office of Social Affairs and Labor in Taiz governorate, Mr. Abdul Wahid Al-Azani. Today, Tuesday, 8 September 2020, a workshop for project implementers in local organizations and institutions in Taiz governorate concluded in the guide of local organizations and initiatives in peacebuilding and coexistence, within the framework of the development of tools and structures for peacebuilding and social cohesion in Taiz governorae funded by Saverworld, which targeted 20 participants male and female of executives and project implementers in local organizations working in the field of peace in Taiz governorate.The Deputy Director General of the Office of Social Affairs and Labor praised the great efforts of Youth Organization for Development and Democracy represented by The Executive Director, Mr. Basheer Al-ttobai and his active and concrete efforts in spreading the culture of peace and coexistence by targeting all the activists in the field of peace-building and coexistence with qualitative and innovative programs and activities at all levels.The trainer, Consultant/ Jalal alddin Mohammed Al-Kholani, international arbitration advisor in dispute resolution at the International Justice Organization, explained the concepts and culture of peace and gender in peace-building to the participants in the workshop and presented regional and international experiences in coexistence and achieving ways of peace-building at the local, national and international level to benefit from them. The workshop of today concluded with an open discussion that led to a set of recommendations and proposals that will achieve an important milestone in the process of peace-building and coexistence.The workshop was the conclusion of a series of six training workshops organized by Youth Organization for Development and Democracy funded by Saverworld for 120 participants male and female in the evidence produced by the organization with the aim of creating a unified vision in the design of awareness programmes and activities in the field of peace, coexistence and social cohesion.
