Within the project Promoting Peace Opportunities through Media Institutions, funded by GIZ, an evaluation session was held for the awareness flashes on peace and coexistence presented by Media Department students. The awareness flashes will be evaluated according to specific criteria by the project advisory body, consisting of Dean Dr – Yahya Al-Madhaji,
The media department head – Dr. Abdel Hakim Makarim,
Dr – Ameen Al-Hashedi, Assistant Professor of Journalism, and College of Arts Vice Dean for Academic Affairs – Dr – Ahmed Al-Amri.
Furthermore, the Executive Director of Youth Organization for Development and Democracy- Basheer Al-Tobba’i participated in this evaluation session.
Three awareness flashers calling for peace and coexistence will be selected from seven competing flashers. All were produced by students of the Media Department at the Faculty of Arts.
The winners will be announced on Wednesday, 15th December, at an award ceremony by the organization.
