Youth Organization for Development and Democracy organized a workshop for active initiatives in the peacebuilding field at the level of Taiz Governorate the Saturday morning 29/8/2020.
The workshop is one of the activities within the framework of peacebuilding tools development and social cohesion Project, funded by SAFERWORLD. The project aims to help organizations, initiatives, activists, and educators to design various activities related to peacebuilding and social coexistence by working according to a unified vision to benefit from funds in working as one team with coordinated efforts between all to carry out peacebuilding activities.
The workshop targeted 20 young men and women who are leaders of effective initiatives in Taiz Governorate. The workshop will last for two days.
The workshop was started by Mr. Bashir Al-Tobbai’, CEO of Youth Organization, thanking initiatives leaders for their keenness to participate in this workshop. He emphasized the important role of initiatives in spreading and promoting the peace culture, non-violence, coexistence among the local community, and social cohesion.
The expert and consultant / Mahmoud Abdel-Qader started implementing the workshop activities according to the guide of local organizations and initiatives in peacebuilding, which was produced by YODD organization earlier. The workshop featured activities focusing on teamwork in addition to analysis and conclusion.
