Today, February 3, Youth Organization for Development and Democracy launched the broadcast of the first radio episodes of the (for peace – homeland) program.
The program discusses the concerns and issues of people in Taiz and their impact on community peace and cohesion.
The program’s episodes were prepared and implemented by some students from the Media Department at Taiz University, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and the European Union.
The inauguration was attended by the CEO of YODD -Basheer Al-Toba’i, Dr . Abdul Hakim Makarim – Head of Media Department at Taiz University, Amin Al-Hashidi – a journalism Dr in the Media Department at Taiz University, and Akram Al-Jaafari – head of Peacebuilding Unit in YODD.
